  • Carbon Equity raised €105 million for Climate Tech Portfolio Fund III, bringing total assets under management beyond €300 million.
  • The fund gives private investors access to a diversified portfolio of leading climate‑tech venture and growth funds across energy, industry and materials.
  • Over 200 private and professional investors participated, including family offices, foundations and individuals.

Amsterdam, May 2025 – Carbon Equity, the leading climate‑tech investment platform, has closed its third Climate Tech Portfolio Fund with €107 million in capital commitments. This milestone brings Carbon Equity’s total assets under management to more than €300 million and reinforces its position as one of Europe’s fastest‑growing climate investment platforms.

Launched in 2024, Climate Tech Portfolio Fund III provides private investors access to a diversified portfolio of top‑tier venture and growth funds backing breakthrough climate innovations across energy, industry and materials. The fund attracted over 200 private and professional investors, including family offices, foundations and individual investors.

“Reaching €300 million AUM within just three years shows how rapidly the climate‑investment landscape is evolving,” said Jacqueline van den Ende, Co‑founder and CEO of Carbon Equity. “Our mission has always been to unlock private capital for the technologies that will define a net‑zero future — and our investors’ trust makes that vision a reality.”

The new fund builds on the success of Carbon Equity’s previous vehicles, which collectively invested in more than 200 underlying climate‑tech companies, including innovators in renewable energy, decarbonised industry, sustainable materials, and carbon‑removal solutions.

With the closing of Fund III, Carbon Equity continues to expand access to private‑market climate investing. The company plans to further lower its minimum investment threshold to enable more private investors to participate in the asset class.
