Kan plantaardig vlees net zo smaakvol, sappig en bevredigend zijn als traditioneel vlees? En hoe zal de toekomst van voedsel zich ontwikkelen in een wereld waarin duurzaamheid geen keuze meer is, maar een noodzaak?

Word geïnspireerd door een exclusief interview met Jaap Korteweg, de visionaire oprichter van De Vegetarische Slager en Those Vegan Cowboys. Hoewel Jaap van oorsprong een negende generatie boer en slager is, maakte hij een radicale ommezwaai: hij zette zijn passie voor goed eten om in een missie om onze manier van eten te revolutioneren. Met De Vegetarische Slager creëerde hij plantaardig vlees dat niet te onderscheiden is van echt vlees. Nu gaat hij nog een stap verder met Those Vegan Cowboys, waar hij zuivel alternatieven ontwikkelt met microben in plaats van koeien.
